The BBHCF hosted 2 fundraising parties while Merci Chidi who oversees BBHCF Operations in Meru was in town
Both events were held back to back to take full advantage of Merci’s incredible energy, knowledge and wisdom. Each event had a personality of its own raising over $5,000.00.
This successful fundraiser party was held at the Café Montmartre at Lake Anne Plaza in Reston on both Monday, May 12 and Tuesday, May 13 from 6:30PM to 9:30PM. The funds raised helped provide our girls with the medical, legal, and vocational funds they so urgently need.
We had some of the girl’s crafts displayed at the event, as well as guest appearances from Brenda Boone, Founder of BBHCF and of course, Merci
Tickets were sold at 50.00 and included: appetizers, refreshments, live music, dancing, networking, lots of great prizes, and lots of fun. Some of the prizes for our raffles were generously donated by; Paolo’s of Reston, Terra Christa, Anam Cara Wellness Services, Il Fornio, Black Eyed Susan, Pilar’s Organic Skincare Studio and many many more local businesses so generously contributed.
