She had a problem with breastfeed the baby because of a complication with her nipple. She is however, well and on medication. She will stay at Tumaini until she goes back to school in January next year. We are trusting God for good and prosperous life of our babies.
Kendi our girl from Naari who is in the community support is okey. Her case is coming up for hearing on 19th September 2008 at Meru Law courts. Our lawyer Mrs. Kaume will be representing her .we are hoping to have justice done.
Eunice who is our girl also in the community support was treated at Nairobi Women’s hospital. She is under medication and was referred to Ripples International Dispensary for further treatment. Her case was postponed to 25th November 2008. Our lawyer Mrs. Kaume is representing her.
Mercy joined boarding school on 6th September 2008. She is a pupil in class two in Meru Junior Boarding. She was very excited to join her new school and we are hoping that she will fit well in the new environment and perform well.
Stella joined Mwithumwiru Primary School in class seven. We are happy to report that we just got a special sponsor to fund her education. We are trusting God to have her put in a boarding school for her class eight education.
The two sisters from Meru North are fine at the centre. Their p3 forms were filled and their cases will be coming up for hearing soon. They have really transformed into very beautiful young girls. The perpetrator is however, out there. The police are searching for him to have him rearrested.
Eliza our girl from Nyeri is also doing well at the centre. Preparations are underway to have her join boarding school soonest possible. She is very excited to be joining boarding school and away from the community where she fears of being intimidated due to the imprisonment of her step father. She is so happy and working very hard to become a lawyer in order to fight and advocate for children’s rights. We wish her all the best in her pursuit.
